John's Photography

The following are a selection photographs taken in Co Durham, the Cheviot Hills and the Yorkshire Dales of this year's spring lambs. This is one of the coldest springs for over twenty years, it's amazing how these delicate creatures survived. Notice some of the tiny lambs in the Cheviot Hills are wearing plastic jackets to protect hem from the bitter cold of the more extreme weather in this part of Northumbria. The picture of the black lambs was taken in Wear Dale Co Durham early February, rather earlier than it is usual for lambs to arrive.  I hope that you enjoy looking at these adorable creatures.
