I am not sure if my graphics can accurately be described as clip art but the graphics included here may certainly be used for this purpose. Last year I had a couple of requests to use my flower paintings as graphics for greetings cards for family and friends and to raise money for charity. Therefore I thought it might be useful to include some images here for free download for the above purposes and for anyone wanting some decorative or fun clip art. All are mostly hand drawn and painted but with some editing in a variety of graphics programmes. They can be resized in any graphics programme but they do not resize so well if pasted directly into your word processor documents or web pages. It is best to resize first in your graphics programme. They are more suitable for web pages but can be used for documents but the quality is not so good when resized. If you would like copies at a higher resolution more suitable for documents I will pleased to send you a file scanned at a higher resolution but you will need to edit to your own requirements. The links on the left will take you to a small selection of hand drawn clip art, caricatures of sheep, paintings and drawings of flowers and trees also graphics for clipart created from my sister's patchwork and appliqué designs. Please note: some of these graphics are only available with a white background. However if you have the necessary expertise you are welcome to alter them as transparencies if it is possible to so. The sheep clipart is however perhaps more suited to a while background. There are two sizes to choose from: click on the links for a larger image. Save to your own hard drive by right clicking and choose "save picture as" from the drop down menu. I think there is a similar procedure for Mac users, sorry I don't know precisely. I am a novice concerning computer graphics and I have no idea about the suitability of these graphics for the aforementioned purposes and my graphics programme used to create most of these images which I could never fully master is quite old: Corel Draw 7. These images are not perfect. Therefore they may need some editing to optimise them. If there are any problems please let me know and if you have any hints or tips to improve these and other images I would appreciate your expertise. Also if you have your own images which you would like to share for free distribution I will be happy to include them. I hope to include more graphics in due course. In the meantime you are welcome to use my flower paintings and drawings as clip art but of course they will require editing in a graphics programme for such things as speckling and resizing.
