I came to know and respect Kirk Stacey’s words of ‘OCD wisdom’ whilst searching, forever searching, for the answer to my OCD. Of course the answer must lie somewhere, through thick and thin and many roads full of doctors and therapists some good some indifferent.

By chance we were on the same wave length, I had an empathy with a person, but, little did I know that this Kirk Stacey had an immense talent for painting the picture of OCD, not just for me but for many fellow sufferers out there. He has a knowledge which is a true talent, to graphically draw and verbally paint vivid pictures to the many OCD people who typically have been searching for an answer. He can reach the very point of OCD, even the smallest traits that some of us perform are not left out from his writings.

He is able to adapt his colourful imagination to touch those failed by ‘normal’ therapies usually administered by the ‘socially accepted’ sources, this is not to say that they can work, but sometimes just somewhere there is a person like me who for whatever reason has been left on the ‘no category’ shelf for OCD no hopers.

He gave me hope, wit, wisdom, direction, and the most wonderful tool of all ~ I AM NOT ALONE ~ he gave me a genuine reason to help myself, and to laugh, out loud at times and raise a smile in the darkest moments of my OCD day.

For that I thank him, and I write this hoping that if this helps just one more person then that is a gift no money can put a price on.

Read this manual with an open mind, a new mind, a totally different way of looking at OCD, the funny side, the side that doctors and therapists sometimes do not touch on for fear of behaving irrationally with a passion instead of clinical vagueness to try to cover all angles and not upset the undirected and the vulnerable.

This will touch your soul and at times make you laugh and empathise, happy reading and let your creative mind take over from the OCD mind.
