Interesting places we have visited in the surrounding area:

	Coastline Devon. The coast line along the county of Devon is absolutely spectacular . This rugged scenery is situated near to the very picturesque and peaceful resort of Lynmouth bay close to Exmoor.
Silby Hill Sibury hill South of Avebury in the county of Wiltshire is a massive artificial mount constructed in ancient times nearly 5,000 years ago during the Neolithic period.. It is the largest man made ancient mound in Europe, it's purpose however is unknown..
	Avebury stone circle. Avebury village Wiltshire north of Silby hill is now one of 14th designated British world heritage sites and includes an impressive Neolithic stone circle which is the largest in Europe. These megalithic stones were erected nearly 4,500 years ago. Ley lines connect Avebury to Glastonbury. I found this was a really special and peaceful place and rather like Glastonbury it most certainly had that special something difficult to define. Unlike Salisbury's more famous prehistoric stone circle Stonehenge access to the Avebury megalithic stones is freely available and you may walk through and touch the stones. A truely awesome place where one perceives an atmospheric glimpse into times past.
